Description

Provides an estimate of the maximum optical receiver bit rate according to a receiver type and a given received power and required SNR.

Arguments

epoch
Description:	The epoch at which to calculate the estimated maximum optical receiver bit rate.

power
Description:	Power incident at the optical receiver.
Units:	dBm

signalToNoiseRatio
Description:	Required SNR for the optical receiver.
Units:	dB

Return Value

Type:

number

The value of the estimated maximum optical receiver bit rate.
